At seven-storeys, 825 Pacific Street (https://vancouver.ca/news-calendar/vancouver-celebrates-certification-of-tallest-passive-house-building-in-bc-a-future-arts-and-culture-hub.aspx) is the tallest Passive House building in BC (at time of writing). Like Enersolv, the City of Vancouver is committed to sustainability; by pursuing the Passive House standard in new buildings, Vancouver demonstrates its commitment to zero emissions.
In receiving the Passive House certification, 825 Pacific Street is internationally recognized for its ultra-low energy design. Enersolv is proud to provide full mechanical services for this building which joins Vancouver’s 10 other Passive House projects, ensuring this project requires approximately 90% less heating energy and 60% less overall energy than typical Vancouver buildings. This building will be a new arts and culture hub providing both affordable and sustainable spaces for artists to create and turn their dreams into reality.
